The biggest problem with the ALICE backpack was the suspension system. Despite the attempts of many manufacturers, no one has come up with a good suspension system for the ALICE backpack. The rucksack as issued is okay, and there are several companies that make great modifications to the backpack. This adapter does not alter your backpack and is easy to use.
